This is our term to describe the license model Process Lasso uses. You can use Process Lasso freely, indefinitely. Most features will remain entirely functional forever. You may occaisionally be solicited to upgrade to the Pro edition. Some advanced features will be disabled over time. The model really isn't uncommon, but its difficult to classify it as either Freeware or Shareware. In order to avoid any appearances of misrepresentation, we clarify it as Shareware on download sites.

We make these pledges

1. We will never bundle our software with any toolbars, browser extensions, or anything else
2. We will never place ads in our software
3. We will never disable the primary features of our product over time, though may disable more advanced features
4. We will be up front about our licensing
5. We will always care more about our software and users than our profits - so long as we can simply survive
6. For purchasers, we will provide a 30 day guaranteed refund to anyone not satisified with our software for any reason

Freeware or Shareware?

This page clarifies our licensing model. Our end goal is to allow as many people as possible to use our software for free. I suppose that's worth potential confusion resulting from a mixed licensing model.
