Process Lasso Pro Commercial Licensing

We thank you for considering to purchase the Pro version of Process Lasso. We are confident you'll be pleased with it and find it very much worth the few dollars it cost.

All commercial licenses include one year of free updates. You will have a permanent and non-expiring license to use any versions that are released during that year. Even after your update period expires, you can still download old versions that were released during your update subscription.

Once expired, you can renew your update subscription for the cost of 50% of the original price of the license. It will renew for the term of your original purchase (i.e. 12 months).

License types

Licensing of Process Lasso is based upon its intended use. There are three basic types: Workstation, Server, and Site. You must be sure you are buying the right license(s) for your company. Workstation licenses

This license is for any single workstation or small server that serves less than five (5) simultaneous users or connections.

Server licenses

This license is for computers that simultaneously serve multiple users or act as a network host of resources. This is meant for Terminal, database, web, and other types of servers. Servers that serve less than five (5) simultaneous users qualify for a simple workstation license instead.

Site licenses

This license allows for wider deployment at a site, or multiple sites (depending on the license). It is recommended for companies that have a large number of servers or users. With this license, you can install Process Lasso on any number of servers and workstations throughout the physical site (i.e. office building, campus, or complex). Organizations that have multiple sites can purchase the multi-site license for deployment across all physical sites.

Update subscription

Commercial licenses come with a 12 month update suscription. This means that you will be able to freely update to newer versions released up to 12 months after your original purchase. You can forever use ANY version released during your update subscription. Your license doesn't ever expire, only your ability to get updates. Once your initial 12 month update subscription expires, you can renew it for 50% of the original license price.

More terms

Virtual machines are counted as if they are actual physical computers. However, you are allowed to only count the number of virtual machines that you run simulateneously.

The source code of Process Lasso can be reviewed by corporate and government clients purchasing a site license. They must sign an NDA, but we are happy to make our source code available for review. An additional charge of $1500 will be applied to cover overhead and risk associated with release of our source code.
